I just got back at the beginning of April. Water temp 84F, Air temp high of 85F, low of 80F. I dove .5 mil, some dove in shorts and Hawaiian shirts. I realize its get colder, but at 5 degrees from the Equator, I wouldn't expect too much of a variation. You always layer.

Torque Wrench for open ended tools Not sure about a tool specific for reg hoses ( I just do mine by feel), but in other applications, the open wrench has a square hole in it like this one for the socket wrench to fit into.

Changing the battery on a Sunnto is easy as well. Battery costs a few bucks and as the o-ring is in good shape you are good to go. I have had a Vyper and Cobra for over a decade with the same o-ring (not suggested, just saying).

Bought two Sola 1200s in October of last year. Charged both and then stored until now. One turns on, the other is dead the charger doesn't seem to recognize the light as it remains with a green light on while the other is red as its charging. Disappointment as I head to La Paz on Wed.

The red thing is a microphone, it's an EMA-2 from Ocean Technology Systems. I was watching the Arctic episode and didn't see the extra bottle, but they were diving dry suits so it might have been an Argon bottle. I am recording the series now (thanks), and will keep an eye out.

As Red 5 pointed out, the first dive can only safely be done with in recreational dive limits on EAN, so its a moot point. He can't dive AIR either dive with that profile.
