Thanks...Im hoping to find some colorful critters out here in the warm water too. i'll admit...i thought the water would be more 'blue' out here...plenty of green water in Puget Sound and the intercoastal waterway looks very similar.

Thanks for the info. So, I looked into the tides a bit and it seems the tidal swing is consistantly about 3-4 ft. Wow! Up here in the PNW we see swings that reach 14-16 ft! Is there really much of a current when you dive this site off-slack?

Got the back to my housing back from Ikelite. They replaced the hotshoe circuitry. I finally had the opportunity to dive yesterday. Shot all ttl and almost every shot was perfect! Yayyyy!

Sangat has nice beach cottages and a nice sandy beach. There is great snorkelling from the beach and you are near many of the wrecks for diving. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I've had some intermittant problems with the Sealife strobes. I found problems with the battery connections. I had to take a dremel to the battery compartment lid and take down some of the plastic for a better connection on the positive battery end.
