I live in Carson, and dive Tahoe all the time. Avoid the shop in Carson City, short fills, atrocious service, and the ower is an ass I taught an enriched air class for him and he refused to let the students dive EANX FDog at Adventure Scuba, or Keith at Sierra Dive Center are worth the extra...

check out iHold Breath ap for iphone, has timers, O2 and CO2 exercises, a log.... great for building up tolerances, and something productive while watching tv, or just relaxing Has been a great tool for me, and I have added almost 3 min to my best times

what are some constructive ways to lower your sac... I know fitness, although I am a bit surprised runners and athletes are not much better than mine, I am a big guy, big lungs, I am very relaxed in the water, what can I do to lower my sac rates?

Agree with Fishpie... I like teaching in the same bcd and reg setup as students, because it makes demonstrations easier for them to process and reinforces the basics... I bring out the really cool stuff for advanced and above, hoseless computers etc... and that helps gear sales when they see...

IMO not a big deal, its just a little different, (definitely not the biggest issue)... it requires a new skill set, and a little forethought, and it will be second nature before you know it, relax and remember, this is supposed to be fun... and not 100% sure GUE is the Ultimate in Dry suit...

I dont think there is anything wrong with the scubapro jets you currently have, in fact I know a few tec divers who swear by the Scuba pro jets. Your best bet is to try various styles out, before dumping a bunch of money into gear you dont like or doesnt fit the need, I understand the difficulty...

I think you should use the same gas unless you are trained and comfortable in selecting a gas mix. In which case you would be planning a gas switch. I dont see you getting that much benefit from switching to EAN28 in a "normal" air dive situation, if you are only using it as a backup/ reserve...
