This prevents the deco tank bungee and sliding d ring main tank leash from crossing and preventing the sliding d ring from being moved forward on the waist belt?
So how do you prevent the bungee from the deco tank crossing the attachment on the main tank? Will moving the deco tank clip down further on the deco tank work or maybe starting the d ring attachment point for the main tanks further up on the waist belt?
Nice! I replaced the drop down d rings that came with the Katana 2 and put on the bent d rings from UK Sump. Much easier to clip in deco tanks now. Credit goes to a scuba board member who recommended this in another thread......
Thats good to hear. It makes me think my recent issue with a HOG deco reg is, hopefully, a one off. Last September I used a HOG deco reg in my PADI TEC 45 class on Bonaire. No where near 250 dives on it. No problems. Went back to Bonaire this May, put the same deco reg on a deco aluminum 40...
I agree with Marie13. I have an SMS 50 and dove it for several years. I didn't care for it out of the box but grew to like it with some modifications. I now dive the Katana 2 and it is, imo, a better rig than the SMS 50.
Arriving 29 April for our usual Dive, Drive and Stay package at the Belmar.....been doing 1 week trips to Bonaire for over 20 years and a week is still to short!
