Scubatech Philippines (run by the perma-banned Devon Diver) recently posted a link to this paper. Although the sample size is small, it makes for a very interesting read. Does it mean that if you are limited to a single gas for deco, 100% would be much better? It it is right smack at the allowed...
Perhaps you have one lying around gathering dust. Metal or plastic/composite hand wheel will do just fine. Please shoot me a PM, preferably with pics. Thanks!
Not much information as of the moment. Apparently the diver has been missing since Monday PM (local time) but the coast guard was only informed Tuesday AM. The diver was part of a group of a locally famous photographer. Dives Tubbataha are usually deep/wall dives and currents can be strong. Here...
Hello everyone. I am the lucky or unlucky owner of a few BP2 regs which I use on my deco bottles. I stocked up on the kits but I can't seem to find any service manual for it. If none is to be had, I'd settle for torque specs (particularly for the swivel turret retaining bolt) and a clue to where...

Here is an Arduino based Nitrox anlyzer I recently made. It uses an Arduino Nano, an ADS1115 ADC, and a 0.96" I2C OLED display. It uses the PSR-11-39-JD sensor from DGX. This is loosely based on this one: Arduino oled nitrox analyzer - Eunjae Im. But the code was too complex for me, so I decided...
I can't seem to find any info on the subject for analyzers, most are recommendation for rebreathers.
I am doing a project on an Arduino based O2 analyzer. I would like to know if there is a cutoff voltage value (in air) for the sensor to be considered "bad" and lose its linearity significantly...
Is there a special tool to remove the environmental cap? I'd hate to mar that nice black PVD finish. Is a strap wrench good enough? The wrench flats are angled so using an ordinary wrench might be a tad difficult.

I'm fresh out of 010 Viton 90 o-rings and I need the valve in about 12 hrs. Can I use a 75 durometer Viton or an 80 durometer EPDM o-ring for the valve stem? It's the o-ring that pairs with the teflon packing ring. It's part # 17 on the picture. It's not a Thermo valve, I just used the picture...
Hi! Anybody knows the proper size for the recessed o-ring at the end of the inlator hose? It doesn't look like a standard 011. Before, I was able to get away with just lubing it. But now it looks a little chewed up.
Thanks!
Something like this:
Add Helium has one but I'm not sure if they are still "alive" after the recent lawsuit.
NESS has one but their only payment provider is PayPal and they wont ship anywhere but your billing address.
I live in the Philippines and want it shipped to CA.
Thanks!

What particular assembly tool do I need to service the BP2 (piston stem o-rings/bushing installation)? Is it a custom job or will one of the tools for Scubapro work (MK20/25 tool)?
Thanks!
It looks like they can make nice deco regs, lighter/smaller than the D1 with a less convoluted gas path. Can I still get one? Why were they discontinued?
I'm referring to this part:
Can I use a deep 3/4" socket to torque it down instead of a 7mm hex key? The wrench flats seem kinda thin/flimsy. I wouldn't want to buy an extra long hex key just for this.
Thanks in advance!
