I believe the only real difference between the Tec 2g and the new 2g is that the 2g offers deep stops.

I am on my second new Uwatec 2g in about as many months. The first one was giving incorrect depth readings on some dives. I only did 8 dives with it before sending it back. Got a replacement, this one has only done 8 dives as well and had been working perfectly but on the last dive it failed...

Hey Phil, I have dived there once from the Homestead. It is very shallow. You can drive right up the the water if you go around to the left of the Homestead cafe, just check in with them first or they might call Fisheries thinking you might be after abalone. There is also a picnic table...

That has not been my experience. I also have never had weights anywhere near my tailbone. :confused: I have never had weights digging into me, maybe you could re-configure??
