Noticed a string of spam in the last few minutes with hyperlinks in them from multiple newly created accounts with only a couple of posts to their credit. Is this suppose to be blocked, or is it only URLs themselves that can't be posted from new accounts?

Thought I'd mention the fact that the integrated search function seems to have disappeared (probably most importantly New Posts) just in case this wasn't intentional. If it was deliberate, can we assume the plan is for it to be back some time in the not too distant future?
