We did a couple of days of diving with Captain Hooks last week and for a few of the dives there were just two of us. They didn't even think about cancelling. I appreciate any charter that will leave the dock for just 2 divers at the normal price! I will definitely be back. Bill Sigmund

Went to the Dive Stop Sunday as I was too lazy to go to Mermet. Wow, what a difference!. The dock is great and the table area is setup nice as well. Next step should be tank racks on the tables. The viz was great to 15 ft and after 20 ft, but through the 5 ft thermalcline it was rough...

Went to the mine today and had the place mostly to ourselves. When I say "ourselves" I mean Fleep and I. Everyone else bailed, including my brother. Anyway, viz was only about 10 ft above the thermacline and 1 ft below it. Still did a couple of dives. Pics link follows...

Dove the Offset mine on Sunday and had the place all to ourselves. Visibility was amazing - easily 30 feet. Best I have seen in Missouri. The surface temp was 75 but the thermalcline was at about 12 feet where it abruptly changed to 50. At about twenty feet it was about 40 degrees...

Dove three times at one mile marker (close to the dam), on saturday. Viz was about 10 feet at depth - water temp 58 at surface, 52 at depth (50 ft). I have a place down there (that's the only reason we went). It was actually pleasant diving in a drysuit. Pics attached. Thanks, Bill Sigmund
