Closed Halcyon Setup (Alum backplate, eclipse wing, harness)

Yes, I dive a Halcyon 17 on my travel rig. It's an older model "horseshoe" shaped wing, not connected across the bottom.

    Seaskin Ultra drysuit review

I've had my Ultra since October '22, you can see my build here. It's based around @stuartv mission statement of "The primary purpose for having this suit is for diving in water temps that are not cold enough to need dry gloves. If it's cold enough to need dry gloves, I will wear my trilam and...

Is there an easy way to put on a 7mm wet suit?

I use this wetsuit lubricant from Mako Suit Slide Wetsuit Lubricant. A 4oz spray bottle easily lasts for a day of boat diving. Spray it on the tight parts of the wetsuit like wrists, calves, etc and the suit pulls right on easily, wet or dry. Also works well for drysuit seals.

Specific reasons(s) for sending in your Teric for repair(s) and/or replacement

Mine just came in, and the factory dive was also over 600 feet. What is the factory dive, just a QA run in a chamber?

Teric owners, have you required repair or replacement service?

Is there a recommended protocol for battery charging and storing? I know on cellphones the life of the Li-ion battery can be extended greatly by keeping the charge level between 20% to 80%, i.e. don't discharge below 20% or charge above 80%. Storage at around 50% is also recommended with...

Wetsuit gloves - don and doff

I use a spray of wetsuit lube in each glove, makes don/doff really easy. I like the Mako stuff Suit Slide Wetsuit Lubricant but a mix of baby shampoo and water would also work. A 4oz spray bottle would be more than enough.
