    Three days in Ressel

Most divers coming from abroad are dir and dir-like. French not so often. Sidemount is not so frequent, but developing. Oli now has sidemount steel tanks to rent. I don't know the crowds in June or worse, in the summer, as I tend to avoid that period.

    Three days in Ressel

As I already said, my experience with them was several years ago, probably five years. They can easily have changed during that period of time. I have not so nice memories of raw cucumbers sandwiches lunches in winter. Definitively more Dutch than French. But as you say, to each his own.

Another accident in Tulum Cave Diving

Unfortunately, they seems to be in a restricted section. Edit: it was just due to some delay in my registration processing.

    Three days in Ressel

Well, I do give a damn. Obviously a diveshop of your nationality is more likely to speak your language and used to your national diving specificities. Here, the OP, whilst from Belgium, can be from the Flemish part of the country, so probably easier communication with Harald, or from Walloon...

Another accident in Tulum Cave Diving

Waow, I'm in Tulum, cave diving for the last 2 weeks, and I haven't heard a thing about that accident. Do you have some info to share as a starting point? cavern/cave diving? with an instructor/guide/by himself? using which diving shop?

    Three days in Ressel

Funny, you chose the Dutch dive center over the Belgian one, that I prefer, on the northern part of the area. But I definitively agree that its website in English is much better, and it offer a all inclusive opportunity that can appeal to non French speaking divers.

    Diving in Turkey?

Thanks for your help. Well, not getting any answers didn't incite me into looking more in depth in what wrecks would looks like and which one would interest me more, so I don't remember much from my pas researches. Regarding to tek/rec dives, that pretty much depend on the definitions in your...

    Solo Technical Why?

Well, if you hired a boat instead of using a dive center, then your are outside of the diving regulations (code du sprort). So you can do what you want, provided the hired company doesn't prevent it. But legally it is very different from using a dive center, hence my surprise seeing your...

    Diving in Turkey?

I don't have current plans to go there, I would do it linked with an Egypt travel (tk stopover in Istanbul). I'm not sure I will do it in 2017, but it would likely be in the summer. I would like to see Gallipoli wrecks.

Blue O Two: Simply The Worse!

I have no idea on what happened to the OP, and this August I had quite strong winds both in the north and in the south. However, I'm not sure I agree with your statement that le LOB adapted to the worse diver at the detriment of all others. To my mind a good liveaboard is able to cater diverse...

cave / other diving in france / spain oct 27-nov 6

The Lot region, in South west France, is famous for its caves. It is definitively the easiest place in the country to cave dive, as it is pretty much the only place with caves where you can easily rent tanks and get fills. There are a few shops that can rent you gear and tanks, and even guide...

Where Would You Go Diving ?

Ambon with Dive Blue Motion would be a possibility. Very good Macro, at less than US $20 per dive by 10+, if not too far from the dive shop. Accommodation nearby approx $ 15/night lunch or dinner : not a lot of possibilities nearby, so an average of $2 per meal for me.

Anilao - Who To Dive With?

I used Aquatech in March 2016 which is based in Aquaventure. Tek diving available including Tx and Rebreather, with reasonable prices. I was there only for 4 days, but most likely will go there again. The website is not up to date, but it is still operating.

    Italy- Diving Ruins

I used CENTRO SUB CAMPI FLEGREI last year. The dive was ok, but the sea was quite rough that day with a strong wind. I wouldn't recommend it with this kind of weather. However, if the weather is good these are nice and easy shallow dives in History. The dive shop is on a private beach, with an...
