I just moved to San Diego from Ventura. Well, I don't know much about diving here. After checking the previous posts, I think there must be some one wants to dive this weekend. So, anyone here for a dive on Sunday? Shore dive or boat dive does not matter. :14:
Hi, NDH
We will arrive coz. on Sat. Aldora gave me a very quick reply too. Since they have 6 boats and their rate is not the cheapest, I think there shall be some spots open. I will begin to dive on Sunday. My "boss" wants me to snorkel with her on Sat. Plus, I will take a Cenote trip with...
My foot is in my mouth now. I was at Maui in one Nov. and it rained so hard that the water turned into yellow. Well, I hope this trip won't end like that.
Thanks, guys. Since rain does not have the same meaning at coz., I have not much to worry. I wll pass barefoot thing. I tired that at China and almost borke my back.
Well, I guess it's my lucky day. I just checked weather. It will rain most time next week. :( Any boat will go out? In the worst case, what can I do there? Drinking all day? I can do that at home. Now, I am sad.
Folks,
I have Zeagle reg with Din since I use a HP steel tank at home. Do I need to bring Din to Yoke adptor to cozumel? I am wondering that if the most dive shops use Yoke valve tanks there. I'd like to travel light.
I have 6.5 MM semi-dry for SCAL. 3 dive a day is fine but #4 is tough. I have 100HP steel tank at home but won't carry it to COZ. I hope the dive shop I use will have steel tank. I will use "Pepe Scuba" at COZ. I worte an email to them with a few questions. So far, no response from them yet...
That's good to know. In that case, I will rent wetsuit on site or bring my 7mm, which maybe an over kill. How about snorkeling? My wife can't dive but she likes snorkeling. In her case, does she need 3 mm shorty?
