Dont plan!, wake up, have breakfast, pick a spot, drive there, go diving. If a spot is crowded or does not look ok to dive (for some reason of other circumstances) then pick another, drive there and go diving ;-)
thanks, that rules out this system. I used the Virgo system from sitech which has the same diameter and that just works. A slightly larger diameter would work better.
I'm looking into this system, how about sizing. I have large hands and would require the largest size possible. Antares oval ring system was nog big enough and measuring using the Kubi chart would suggest the 100mm version.
one of these, either is fine
Hollis F1
ScubaPro Jet Fins
iv'e used the Jetfins in warm water and a shorty or 5mm full wetsuit with no problems.
one thing about the Jets is that the while the XL size fits your booties, it probably does not fit when using a drysuit. i use both the XL(neoprene...
I've been diving with the Virgo for some time now, coming from Antares.
Antares works ok if you have smaller hands, for me it always has caused problems.
After changing to the round Virgo system i do not have any problems and have had dry hands ever since.
It give you the change to change the...
From the looks of it, the best place for it seems to be on the connector right beheind the lighthead. Get a piece of rope and some bungee.
create a small loop from the bungee and attach using cave cord the way you would a boltsnap.
For the boltsnap, best pace is on top of the goodmanhandle...
I recently got the change to buy a Suex XJO14 and also was given a Silva Compass (58)
I see this (or similar) compas on the bonex navigation unit and would like to use it on the scooter also.
Now i'm not really sure its the same compass and if its suitable to use under water.
Does anyone know...
Subsurface works just fine and it's free. Export individual dives to UDDF and import into subsurface. Subsurface is also be to upload to divelogs.de. A we to export all dives at once is being worked on by Xdeep (I heard)

I managed to book the tickets this weekend, thanks for the information. Continental was not an option because the flight would leave on friday/saturday but we need to be in canada those days.
Now 2 stops, JFK and San Juan.
Did manage to find a good deal for amsterdam, toronto and bonaire to amsterdam.
would it be a problem to fly from toronto to a us city and transfer to a bonaire flight from there?
I assume a visa is needed?
buffalo to bonaire is the cheaper option, but i think crossing the border first and...
DIR or not DIR compliant wing, fact is i'm moving toward DIR diving for various reasons.
Because it's impossible to change all the equipment at once i have to change is in steps.
Eventually the equiment will be replaced but until that time i need to find a way to work with it in such a way i'm...
Actually the valves are not to low, they can all be reached very easily.
Moving the valves up will make it uncomfortable and futher down will make reaching the valves much more diffucult.
Hello
I'm slowly moving toward a DIR configuration setup. I replaced my single 15liter cylinder with a double 7 but now there's a slight problem with the setup.
The REV on top of my wing and the inflator now hit my first stages.
There's nog room to adjust the height of the...
Thats if we're on one way tickets i guess. however i'm still figuring out what would be the best combination of travel time vs ticketprice.
Dont know if 2 return tickets per person are cheaper then 3 one-way tickets per person
kind regards,
