Went to the mares web site logged on and it only shows the 3.07 firmware update, can't see the 4.0. Update even when I hit the show all button

It now shows 3.06 firmware

How come on the mares web page it states that the battery on the mares icon is user replaceable if changing it yourself voids the warranty ?

June 15th is when the firmware will be released. The time shift has been fixed in this release

Set the preflash to 0 and the auto bright to 1

I know this has been talked about here before , but for the last few years my DC800 shutter button has only stuck once and awhile until last week at Truk Lagoon when the shutter button stuck alot. Is there an easy Fix as sealife no longers sells this camera

My son has a sealife DC600 and a Sealife Digital Pro Flash (SL961) on it and the latch on the back of the flash broke the other day. Can we get a new latch or do we have to buy another flash all together. Thanks

My strobe flooded in a pool, sent it to selife and they sent me a brand new pro strobe free no questions asked

Just go to the sealife website, then to the firmware section and follow the instructions

Once again sealife has a quick response to a question, this is the reason we have at our house a DC500, DC600 and a DC800 all cameras have had no issues

Just wondering if anyone knows what the changes are in the new firmware for the DC800 thats posted on the Sealife website.

Denise: The button only sticks when I start to comeup from a dive , it works just fine at depth and once I tap the housung as I come up. I will try your solution and hopefully it works. Thanks for the quick reply, this is one reason we own 3 sealife cameras

Well, looks like I am no the only one having this problrm, hopefully the sealife rep chimes in and lets me know if this is an known issue.

Yep checked for rust and found none,as it only happens after approx. 80' I was wondering if its the following: When the housing is at 100' it might be compressing a small amount , this would cause the camera inside to shift a bit and catch the edge of the block that is attached to the button.

I been having a problem with my DC-800, the camera will work perfectly during a dive, until I come up about 20 ft then the main button will jam until I tap on the housing then it will work again. It only happens when I go down to bout 100' and the come up to 80' . If I stay above 80' the button...
