I have been riding the road bike there in every corner and beach and never saw any scuba flag anywhere + I asked some people 99.99% sure there is nothing at all....
I am sometimes in Khanom....no dive shop there. coast seems very flat. That is the bad news.
The good news...there are plenty of boats that go for snorkeling/dolphin watch so for sure it is easy to rent a boat.
I have there 2 Aluminum tanks and 2 steel tanks. So if I am there I could give you...
I have a Coltri MCH-6.
I added a PMV
I added a second filter housing (same size as the original).
I always thought that the water separator is also on the small side. Now I can get another MCH-6 water separator. That would be relative easy to install. I may install it above the original one, so...
Same experience here.
I had a MCH6 that stand for years (but electric motor) and a gasoline generator which stand for a couple of years (but let it run dry like you said).
Both restart without any problems....just change the filter and oil after a long time of standing.
Some Oring went old...but...
Why is this? (I am not disputing it, I just fail to understand why).
And by the way it happens that there are inch size belts that are very close to metric one, that even if it doesn't damage something it causes very fast wear.
If you can't find it in Philippines let me know, I know a company...
On a second hand I would change oil, oil filter and repack air filter anyway, no matter how old.
Well unless I am very sure that it is almost new and right......Small amount of money and better be safe.
I dispute that theory. :DWell you are sure right with the price. But this compressor (300 bar version) is fitted with a hose without bleeding valve. So there is no bleeding at all (unless you consider bleeding it off on the water separator valve). So how does Coltri thinks you can screw out the...
I consider making a cooler....just tube bent in a coil with a small fan (size like in a computer), or in a way that I can put the coil in a bucket with water. On the other hand refilling filter isn't much work.
I also look out to find an old bigger separator or filter housing. I had the idea to...
Well I doubt you want to see that.....it might even dangerous to the younger forum members :bounce:
yes I have the adjustable one....I had it set less than that....so I'll increase it.
Thanks for the information.
Thanks! I actually bought the priority valve from you! Works perfect and I can recommend to buy from rcontrera...I had a couple of questions and all where answered very fast and exactly.....So I am your cheerleader
Question: how high would you set it...ambient temperature is 35-40...
Wow.....Bauer with shipping and taxes for less than 1.200 USD
I imported mine from Europe and everyone was whining about the high import taxes. I declared it as compressor and the tanks as storage something for compressed air. Paid 1% + 7% VAT.
Remote island in Vietnam....lol....we are...
Yes I know that problem, but having 2 filters it is the double time (well it is not because we have 35 degree temperature.....) I only dive alone, so I don't have much fills, just my 2 tanks. Oil in the air is nasty....I had it a few times from tanks not filled by myself (Thailand.....).....I...
yes I agree!
Biggest problem is not having any pressure maintaining valve....Bought one. They aren't expensive. MCH-6 uses what other company sells as personal filter. It is just too small (as you say). But having two of it will do the job in a MCH-6. Buying a 500 USD tower for a 2500 USD...
I really hope that you are right and I am wrong.....I read that as if I can't go to the fisherman with my tanks and go diving.....Of course it is Thailand...legal or illegal doesn't matter much.
On the other hand I understand. A tour operator (if not just someone without any license) who sends...
