You can try using a size 5 allan key to detune the regulator so that its less sensitive.

Sorry to hijack, but i would like to know if i have a gekko console w suunto spg. Can i remove the gekko, buy a wrist strap n use it on my wrist? While also removing the spg from console n using it normally without the bulk of the rubber console.

If you are in the south, do give Kenting a try. Or you also look at the offshore islands, green island, xiao liu chiu. Not too sure abt the north thou. I'll be going in Nov too, planning to dive in 17 18 Nov at kenting. Got plenty of coral there.
