    Lightning

I've been witness to the same act being performed in 4 inches of salt water at a facility I used to work at. No one else was effected.

    Roatan Questions

Hey folks sorry I missed the reply. Taca changed my flights around so it was impossible to fly there on them, they ended up refunding me. So my school picked up flights there and back. I need to book a new flight back, trying to choose a hotel right now. Is shore diving an option out there?

    Roatan Questions

I am going to be in Roatan diving for a class from May 9th to 16th. Since I already have to book obscenely expensive tickets, I was thinking I might as well make full use of the situation and stay an additional week. I also wouldn't mind meeting some more scubaboard folks, I was at the...

To start off with, I have been seeing for the last year a lot of UV dive lights, UV night dives, UV photography etc. Besides being an avid diver, my income as well as my hobby is generated from the keeping of live corals and reef aquariums I am curious how many folks are aware that UV light is...

Dive Report - Disney Dive Quest Nov 5

Really. I'm afraid that when asked most of our guests admit they haven't dove in years :(, so personal equipment is kind of rare.

Dive Report - Disney Dive Quest Nov 5

Thats a definite no no I'm afraid. We have them for employees but not for guests. They would prefer not to let people even use their own masks but it teetering on the edge of a "visibility issue".

Dive Report - Disney Dive Quest Nov 5

Ah I see idocsteve, sorry for the confusion. Yes masks are allowed, its just rare that someone brings a non prescription mask with them on a non diving vacation.

Dive Report - Disney Dive Quest Nov 5

The tank is 25 feet to the bottom. It is a forty minute dive, if you have a low sac it lasts 40 minutes, if you breath like a 400lb smoker then we will change your tank out as many times as you need for 40 minutes.

Dive Report - Disney Dive Quest Nov 5

No they don't allow you to bring your own camera I'm afraid. We take a video of you while you dive, and make that available afterwords. The only think we will let you bring in is a prescription mask, and or a wrist mounted watch / dive computer.

Just getting a new setup, have a flooding question.

Mmm so if jostling around in the rinse bucket (low pressure) is enough to cause floods... are floods common during entries like giant stride?
