Taking apart a Scubapro MK5 - what tools do I need?

Can you get one of those spanners Dr. Farina showed in his second picture? Me being me, I used one of the "one size fits all" spanners and made a mess of things.

or one of these Park Tool SPA-2 Red Freewheel Ring Pin Spanner [SPA-2] and a 15" crescent wrench. Which will make some of these guys cringe, but it works.

    Basic camera options

@Lorenzoid , I'm talking diving in Bonaire. If there's more than one truck already at the dive site we typically consider it too crowded and move on. And we stay well away from other divers - it's a big reef.

    Basic camera options

My dive buddy had good luck putting a GoPro on a stick. This allows for some extra distance between your regulator and the sea life - making the subjects less skittish. Also, there's more awareness of aiming and moving the camera - it actually seems to help eliminate the "jerkiness".

    Is the town Pier closed?

So I was trying to figure out which is "North Pier". In the process realized google has now driven and mapped a lot of the island. Does anyone know when that data went on-line? Just curious.

    Captain Dons Habitat - Bonaire

@Devonled , driving a stick isn't rocket science. Have someone give you a few lessons and you'll be fine. And there are no traffic lights or hills on Bonaire.

    Rock boots

@Litefoot , I wouldn't cut the tongue out. It's protection between the laces and socks. Probably keeps a bit of sand out too.

    Rock boots

I use CT's (converse) and replaced the laces with paracord. Easy enough to tighten and loosen.

Question Questions about Drysuit fins and air in feet

Or you could just try some Chuck Taylor's (Converse All stars). They lace up snug and aren't floaty on their own. I up-sized from 9 to ll and ended up with XL OMS Jetstreams which are rather light and stiff though. The CT's aren't super expensive either.

    Who is Herman?

This seems to describe how I was able to use this drill block. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milescraft-DrillBlock-Hand-Held-Drill-Guide-1312/204590191 I got everything, including the compressed snap ring, positioned in the drill block just above the regulator body. Then pushed through and held in...

    Who is Herman?

@Luis H , So it's ok to push on the filter like that? The reason I used a 1/2" wood dowel was so I could make contact with the outer ring of the filter. That method in the video is slick. boat

    Who is Herman?

It seems like you could make the tool out of pvc rod if you have a drill press. https://www.eplastics.com/shapes/pvc-type1-rod I recently refurbished an AquaMaster and found I could use a drill guide and a wood dowel. (shaved the dowel end to a partial circle to accommodate the snap ring...
