    Breezes Cable Beach

Several years too late. But in case someone does a search for this topic, Stuart Coves was who we dove with. I havent been back for a couple of years and I have heard they moved their operations. However, I have been to that island several times and have always been happy. Pretty much cattle...

    Galileo Firmware 2.1

*Update* called Scubapro today. Didn't get any real information, just that I could update. Rep said all he could really say is that its mostly background stuff, and the only change I should see is the version number.

    Galileo Firmware 2.1

What changed between 1.7 and 2.1? I just noticed today that there is 2.1 firmware available (I'm sure its been out forever, just never bothered to check) Information about the versions seems almost non-existent. THanks

Aruba first visit looking for help

My wife and I are going to visit Aruba in July for the first time. We are looking for "top tips" for our visit. We are experienced divers that like to have the freedom to dive our computers is this possible here? I read a lot about short dives. Are there dive ops that cater to smaller groups...

    Big island trip

Just back from a week staying in and around the Big Island. Weather was not good, had only one day of sun, but the diving was good. Another member of this board recommended Kona Diving Co, so we gave them a shot. I recommend these guys to anyone shopping around for an operator in the Kona...

    Galieo Display

It took a while, but I finally got this issue resolved. The computer was not repairable, but Scubapro worked with me to find a solution that was acceptable to both of us. Thanks to Katescubapro for getting me in touch with the right contacts. It's good to deal with a company that is willing to...

    ScubaPro Repair, end of relationship?

Follow up: It took a bit of time, but Scubapro came up with a solution that was acceptable to me. I wasn't able to get my faulty screen repaired, but the folks at Scubapro took care of me. For anyone wondering, I was unable to find anyone willing (or able) to attempt a repair.

How to hook up the Galileo LUNA to my PC?

Most generic IR dongle will work. I have had problems with getting a good signal and had to mess with the angle of the computer to get it to 'see' the dongle. Jeff

    Customer service contact.

I sent an e-mail to Scubapro US through the website's "contact us" link nearly a month ago, and have not received a reply. Is there a direct e-mail that I can use to forward my question/concern about a recent experience with your company? Thank you, Jeff

    Nassau weather June

Wasn't a big deal, a few isolated thunderstorms, and at least a sprinkle daily but like most of my other experiences in tropical areas, it was nothing to slow us down. Jeff

    ScubaPro Repair, end of relationship?

I suspect that is true, but I figured it may either be repairable ie: bad solder joint somewhere or that scubapro may sell the part to some other repair facility. Jeff

    ScubaPro Repair, end of relationship?

I have a ScubaPro Galileo SOL that needs some repair, specifically, an LCD repair or replacement. Do I have any options besides Scubapro? I don't want to get into specifics about my problem in a public forum yet, and I have had good luck with the company for many years, so I hope we can work...

    Nassau weather June

Heading back to Cable beach soon. The extended forecast calls for thunderstorms nearly every day. Are these typically the quick in-and-out showers that seem to be everywhere in the tropic regions, with sunny days, or should I plan for dark and rainy most of the time? Either way, looking...

    Where to dive / stay

I havent been to any of the Bahamas islands except New Providence (Nassau). If your wife isn't a diver this may be a good choice. There is a lot to do and a full range of choices as far as resorts go. Diving with Stuart Coves is easy, they will pick you up nearly anywhere you stay, you can...

    Cheap from Phx?

Thanks for all your help. We decided to go back to the Bahamas this time. It was inexpensive and reasonable to get to. My wife really likes it there to, a good mix of things to do, diving and hotels. This trip isn't as much about diving as it is about chillin and relaxing. ( We will dive...
