Just back from Mexico diving with the Canon G12

I liked the cave dive parts. The light rays in the cavity. ^-^

    Canon S95 camera specifics

My S95 does not exhibit this problem. In fact, I'd wished it is a bit stiffer as it often gets "touch" when I have to hand the camera to someone to "take a photo for us".

Supermacro with S95 and Stacked Inon UCL-165

...and you managed this pygmy seahorse on the S95 setup ! Wahhh.... I am dreaming about meeting this long-time-no-see friend of mine in Bali.... If it still remembers me..... and allowed me to find it.

Supermacro with S95 and Stacked Inon UCL-165

@Carl-Johan I have an arm that looks very similar to yours. Bought from a buddy who was giving up the hobby years ago. Mind telling what brand and model this is ? What kind of stuff I can fit onto it. Thanks

Supermacro with S95 and Stacked Inon UCL-165

Thank you for the leads. Will see how crazy I can go with the basic setup before adding more gears. I recalled having a 2nd hand flexible arm that I bought years ago and never used. Perhaps time to look for a suitable strobe to fit it. More later....

Supermacro with S95 and Stacked Inon UCL-165

Wow. Inspirational shots for my dive trip in 2 weeks' time with (1st time) the S95+canon housing. Curious about the stacked lens fits the canon housing ? How does it works and looked like ? Thanks

    Canon EOS 7D owners...

This is a good reason for my 7D. Plus the large choices of quality lenses from Canon, especially the L lens series. Worth the extra $ for the results.

This is How Japanese Take Photos

just being accurate when I can. You have another word to describe the people from China ? I don't accept the part about "Asian all look alike", especially in this modern age of jet travels and internet..... but that will be another discussion and (perhaps) flame

This is How Japanese Take Photos

Oh. Excuse me. These are actually Chinamen taking the photos in some chinese cities (Beijing, I guess). Not Japanese, whom I think have more class & style than this. The tell tale sign is their fashion sense (color mix, cutting, leather bags over the man's shoulder and that leather shoe)...

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

SI on log file. If you did not use the info on your own DC, it is fine. But I will tell you this :L My Aladin Pro does. My buddy's Sunnto (D6, D9, Stinger & Vyper) does. My Mares Nemo TI, DOES NOT

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

Anyway. I had been told my O'Hara of Mares that SI is not found on the Nemo. No matter now, i had bought it with certain reasonable expectation, and had not read the (online) manual before paying for it..... can't do much about it now. Just continue to be the laughing stock of my dive group...

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

This is case, why bother to buy a DC when you are using your watch, brain (and perhaps) a table ? The purpose of a DC is tool of console of dive data and tabulation. I paid good $$$ for it and reasonably expects it to provide this service. I am not a tri-mix diver trying to use this for a...

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

The data needed to provide this information is available, yes yes. I know that. But after spending so much $$$$$, to get the basic data like SI, I have to buy a $5 calculator to calculate ! Come on, gimme a break ! I believe that SI is a vital information. Unless there is a new style of...

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

I think guage mode is found as Bottom Timer mode, BT. Never used this before. Lets hoped that someone comes along to offer a solution to our questions.

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

Yes. I hoped that I was the one who did not understand the english in the manual. But when you have a few friends, including my dive buddies, going thru the DC and the manual with you . It is nearly impossible that we could have missed it. Unless the Italians has another name for this set of...

Surface interval reading on the Mares Nemo Ti

Repost here, as I did not get any response. Any help is deeply appreciated. ====================================================== I just got a new Nemo Ti last month. Took it on the median trip to Komodo Islands LOB, the very next week. The reading was big & nice . I was happy...

Yet another A620 housing and strobe

Well. Guess I will have to draw my own conclusion and steps here. Will go for the original canon housing as a start, as I will be "without strobe" option and needed to start somewhere. Will then recharge my bank account for the housing for my 300D and the strobe + arm. If I am going to add...
