Thanks, all. Just to clarify, I am wondering particularly about kids (under 15), whether they could be certified, or were diving without certs (I'm sure some were, if diving was in the family, say). When were the first Junior certs issued?

What kind of options were there to get certified in the 70s? Could kids get certified then? If not, when did that start? Were there many people diving without certs? Thanks for any answers.

You could visit the aquarium at Darling Harbour. Or the one at Manly (catch a ferry across). You can snorkel around the swimming enclosure at Manly near the aquarium. There are seahorses there, but I don't know if you can see them from the surface.

Is the Veo the same size and shape as Oceanic's other computers, like the VT3 and Versa pro? I'm wondering if a mount for the VT3 will fit a Veo.
