Please remember that this is not the US we are talking about. It's Honduras (actually, isn't FI owned by a european company?), even though they were doing business with a US company. The things aren't necessarily the same as if they were in the US and statements like "You are responsible", etc...

PG can be as seedy or as calm as you want it. Yes there is a flesh market... :shocked2:;) But it is pretty contained to a certain area. It's divided into 3 consecutive beaches: Sabang, the biggest, is where the seedy parts are. Small La Laguna and Big la Laguna (5 or 10 minute walk from Sabang)...

Tailwinds, in first place, just because you will have classes to complete, I would choose PG. You will definetly be able to find a dive operation giving the course at a reasonable price. All you need to do is walk around and ask a bit. You might even get a private instructor... The diving in...

Donsol is exclusively for the Whale sharks (although there probably is a buit of touristy stuff to do also). It's probably the best place in the world to see them if you are in season (sorry, don,t remember when that is). That's it. You want whalesharks? Go... You don't? STay away... How many...

OK, if you want to relax and change mindsets, Do not do more than 2 destinations! Pick 2 (maximum3), and spend time there relaxing. if you really want to see the big fish you listed, do Donsol for 2 days (whale sharks), then head to Malapascua (best bet for mantas and Thresher sharks). maybe...

Judging by your description of your trip to COZ, 5mm will definetly not be too much... I also agree with the others: a Hood will help a lot! Some gloves too while you're at it... But don't use that as an excuse to touch everything...:no: You might even consider a thin vest (2mm) to slip over/...

ALT is absolutely right on this. Get to a dive destination a few days in advance near by the departure are of the LOB. Do your Rescue course. Then take 100% advantage of the liveaboard. You are paying big$$ for that liveaboard... Take full advantage of your time on it!:coffee:

Of those you mentionned, I would pick Asia divers simply because of their location (PG) in one of, if not the most, frequented dive destination of the PIs. This will assure you lost and lost of working experience, which is essential with those courses. For this reason alone, Asia divers beats...
