    Fear of Sharks, need advice

I'm with justleesa on the circumstances. Most of the time divers are NOT the ones attacked. I've been on several shark dives and the sharks could care less about us. I'm not a fan of shark dives now, because it changes the behavior and setting of the relationship of sharks with people. I'm not...

Do you fill out your dive log??

I fill mine out to remember the important details, such as the suit I wore and the amount of weight it required to sink my big ol butt. Water temp, vis and other details have been helpful to others asking me conditions of particular dive places when they're getting ready for a trip to the same...

    Wetsuit sizing

I can attest to that, Britt knows how to fit suits! And the hyperstretch is great, I won't wear anything else (although I am thinking about trying the insta dry because I'm so cold natured). Henderson stands behind their products better than any other brand I've tried. I've had no problem with...

    Wetsuit Selection (Cold)

I know a guy who wore the 7mm Instadry (henderson) while he was doing his instructor training in January in ?50 degree water and he raved about the suit. The other folks and trainers in the drysuits were ready to get out of the water and he wanted to stay in and do fun dives. Stephen Frink wrote...

Cruising to St Thomas & St Maarten Next week

Take your own. It will fit you and you'll know where everything is, you won't always get the correct size when you have to relie on rental availability and you don't know when it was serviced last. It's well worth the extra luggage to be comfortable and SAFE, because you know who's taking care...

    I have a stupid question

Yeah, pack it in your checked bag, make sure it's in a safe place like a dry box so the TSA agent doesn't cut him/herself while digging around in your personal belongings. Otherwise they'll come after you if they get cut...and it will be your fault they were digging in your personal belongings...
