Many levels of divers do Scapa, yes there are plenty of rb/tech divers but there are plenty doing no-deco with single tank and pony. Yes you need need to be at least experienced in cold water/~35 range and have a dry suit/Nitrox to truly enjoy it. I've been once and the JohnL had a nice cosy...

if your just going to dive on hols, then agree, go to a wetsuit...get at least a 3mm so you can layer over it with a shorty and do some uk diving or colder Red Sea stuff. I'm sure othree can do something....even for wetsuits..

Or how subtlety can you flush your suit on a dive? Grabbing the neck seal is dead giveaway...

Ask on UKDivers forum... or ring Othree in Weymouth, or Aquanauts in Plymouth are pretty friendly.. My gut feel is that you forget the wetsuit and go straight to a drysuit if you can afford it,if want to dive in the UK. The training is really a doddle...find a club and they will help you, no...
