My IRIS reader hasn't worked in so long I forget if there's a flashing light in the read port that blinks when reading from NEMO. I'll try fiddling with the com ports and see what happens. Otherwise, IRIS is going to have a date with the trash compacter...Rob in Arizona

P.S. I do not have the USB converter, yet, still using the serial port connection, and I have had extensive contact with Mares, including two U.S. reps and a tech guy in Italy. The tech guy sent pictures of how to align the computer with the IRIS...no luck. No one at the local dive shop knows...

Originally, it uploaded about twenty dives from the Nemo dive computer, great no problem. When I went to upload an additional twenty...nothing. I triple checked the connections, made sure the infrared IRIS software was connected to the right port that my computer recognized it, and that it was...

Jeez Phil, I hate to sound snarky and all, but I already have an IRIS reader that doesn't work, how much is a new one gonna cost, and how do I know that one isn't not going to work correctly either? Rob, a frustrated customer.
