When the Magician was around they would go to SBI and SCI as well. The only time I went to Miguel was on one of the Vision boats. I used to go on the Peace every so often. Oh well the days of boat diving aren't the same s they used to be :(.

I just found out the other day that the Cee Ray is gone as well. Sad how so many dive boats are now gone compared when I first started diving here in southern Cal.

The Magician was my favorite and it recently got sold. It is now operating in Mexico I heard as a fishing boat. The Horizon went bye bye awhile ago. That was after the Mexicans closed down Guadalupe Island for shark diving.

Yes PacStar is still operating. The amount of dive boats here in so Cal has dwindled over the years.

With the Magician no longer a dive boat in southern California, what dive boat would be considered the best now? Sucks that the Magician is no longer. I really loved that boat and have some fond memories diving from it.

Where is a good place to stay? Diving is not a priority but would be fun to do while there.

I am looking to go to Bali this summer in July. I will be staying at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. Is there good diving near this location?
