I've used the "Jolly Rancher" method and it works well. I've recently purchased a MSR Dromedary pack (Camelbak) that I've installed a pair of bolt-snaps to, that will be worn like a stage bottle between the shoulder and hip d-ring. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how well it will work.

Well, I suppose there may be some individuals that would find Zeagle manuals sexy. These folks shouldn't be shunned because of their choice. To each his own, I say. Personally I thought the Apeks one was kinda cute.

Is your filter blocking the site or the file when you try to view it? The site isn't mine it's just where I found the files. The files are in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format. It's a fairly common format. You can get the reader from here. I think your smart filter is a bit confused. :D

As for how to loop the crotch strap webbing though the retainer 4 times, I used the method shown at this link. I used a non-serrated retainer with the stiff webbing that FredT supplies. Dave

I have Apeks and a buddy has the Legend LX. Both breathe very nice. According to the info from this link , the Legend series regs use "Apeks Technogy". While I haven't opened up my buddy's reg to check, the second stages seem to be using the same barrel poppet setup.
