The Suwannee County Sheriff Department has advised Divers NOT to leave their vehicle keys in the gas cap area.
Saturday a vehicle was stolen from Little River while the owner was swimming.

Also there is the danger factor!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first year was as a call out tender, second was as a call out lead tender with some diving, started diving on my third year...
Aluminum Backplate $65
Basic Harness $42
Tank Straps $63
Crotch Strap $17
Rec Wing $356
Well it will cost $543 + Shipping to build a new system, but why would you want too???
The Transpac is good technical platform, so why move to a backplate???
You can replace...
Thats not entirely true.
If you using a single tank I would agree, but with doubles you can put the transpac on and then drop the back plate on top.
However Dive Rite makes plates for the transpac to be used with doubles
I have seen it used both ways.
It depends on what agency you are going to teach for.
First you need to get too Dive Master.
Get with your LDS and map out a path to Dive Master.
After you get to DM then you just take the IDC and your set. It’s a lot of work and money to get there, may take a year or two...
if you think thats good check out these guys.
this is the best I have seen

and heres how to set them up...
What I recommend
Buy a Dive Rite Nitek Plus
Its a nice two gas computer with a gauge mode.
So use this for a year or so while your saving up to by a VR3
Once you have your VR3 you now have your backup timer for mix diving
Here is a good light for OW, cavern and a good backup for cave.
http://www.diverite.com/products/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=LT6078
I have the Sea elite, the DR Handheld and 2 backups.
My Sea Elite has be on about 100 cave dive and several 300’ dives and never had a problem...
I used the UK Light cannon for cavern after that you will need a can light.
I recommend this one.

it’s a salvo rebranded for divers-supply.
Well that was Blue Grotto and Blue Springs in Orange City
Blue Grotto is at best an into cavern dive, this is a great place for OW divers to get a taste of what an overhead environment is like. Yes you can go to the bottom which is about 100 feet turn off all lights and see natural light...
yea forgot the reels and spools
I think the Salvo reel is the best
http://www.salvodiving.com/guidelines1
and for safty and jump/gap i like spools not reels
