    Beware:Save-Money-Diving.com

From another scuba forum: Beware:Save-Money-Diving.com A few years ago many dive shops, especially agents for liveaboards were worried about this company, about their price cutting and worried that one day they would just disappear and leave customers up sh** creek. Looks like that has...

If you're living in Phuket or if you've been on the Queen Scuba liveaboard in the last few years, you will know Rich Neely - great bloke, one of the top tour leaders on liveaboards round these parts. Sipadan quota

Nobody seems to be able to give a straight answer...Supposedly a quota was put into place last month, along with the increase in park fees to a daily charge. Meaning there is a limit on the number of divers allowed at Sipadan per day. Now, if that's true, then late bookings are going to be...

    Seaventures Platform resort, Mabul

I would love to hear comments about the Seaventures Platform resort from anyone who has been there. Worth the money? I know it's a budget option, but still - are the rooms nice, the food good, the boats and staff good? Would you go there again? Thanks Jamie

    One Year Later

It does not seem like a year to me. But today I went down to the beach at Patong (Phuket) and stared at the tranquil sea. Whatever emotions I have felt over the last year will now be put in the past. My son was born here in Phuket about 2 weeks after the tsunami. Now he's nearly 1, starting to...
