No doubt, I don’t seek those out but have seen parts of the island most never will based on hanging out with local friends over the years. I don’t stay out that late anymore, but there is certainly a darker side of the island. Always has been.

I believe more of that behavior is in the local and dive community than cruise ships.

I don’t find it shocking or would it influence my behavior when visiting. It might be more abrasive but has always been there.

Has to be good news for the resorts, likely increase business. But in general if you aren’t reading this thread you have no idea anything is going on.

If you want a watch form the Garmin i feel is a better dive computer than Teric, just search the forum. I owned both. That being said get a perdix 2 for a computer and a less expensive Garmin smart watch.

Might make sense to get working seatbelts and such. Would be a nice touch,

All good, I have dove in Cozumel for a long time, my dive buddy longer. We hit closer sites that historically were always 2nd dives or shallow night dives. Just not my preference. I enjoyed the stay, just will stick with ops I am familiar with moving forward.

Did it twice with us, so we didn’t dive with again. I would stay there just use a different dive op.

I stayed and dove with them once. We are experienced as well. First time in all my trips to Coz we did 60 foot max depth dives. They were nice but not the dive experience we are accustomed when down there. Service at the restaurant is great.

Tipping is always a quality topic as well.
