Don't know if I posted this before but if it helps any new UW photographer here goes........
Below's a link on keeping buttons lubed. It’s a great tutorial from a guy who's rented compact housings for years.
The part on using an eye dropper and liquid silicone is great! I bought a pump...
As to the camera rinse bucket I also call BS.....I NEVER EVER leave my camera of any type in hte rinse bucket. Seen more floods there than in the ocean with big / small set ups banging around, etc.
On Baby Shampoo as defog diving for 55 years progressing from spit to all different types of...
I went to Galapagos 20 years ago (!!!!!!!)
Back then you could do a live-aboard that also offered some land walking tours plus get you up to Wolf and Darwin islands.
At the time I had the first Canon Digital Rebel SLR, a 6.3 megapixel camera.....I mostly used my 18-55mm "kit" lens. The...
People recommending tables might be doing square profile tech dives but for any place else in the world you won't be using them.
OK, maybe if you dive locally in your pond, lake, etc. But virtually no resort near an ocean offering 2-3 + more dives a day ain't going to let you dive tables.
If...
We have 4 Suunto ZOOP Novo wrist units.

Probably either threaded in or pressed in from the outside. Did you try messaging SUBAL directly?
Or maybe whoever might be a SUBAL dealer in the US (??????)
There used to be a dedicated UW photo store on Bonaire but not sure if it's still there.
Maybe ask your dive op and they'd know...
Does your housing circuit board have a switch for ON / OFF?
When you turn it on if fully charged it should be BLUE indicating it's ready to pull the vacuum.
Start pumping.....YELLOW is flashing fast keep pumping.
SLOW YELLOW flashing means SLOW DOWN pumping.
YELLOW steady means optimum...
Hmmmm.........I didn't see where a BLUE light is mentioned but maybe I haven't read the instructions in super detail. Will check it out and post any other ideas.
I will says even if some salt water is in the small areas of the housing (a hair / hand / whatever drip when changing camera...
You don't say if your housing is the model with rechargeable vacuum / moisture system installed.

All Fantasea housings for compacts (made by AOI) have slots 12 and 6 o'clock around the 67mm threads allowing air bubbles to go out once submerged.
If I use any 67mm thread on accessory lens (usually only a M67 II "Air Lens") I simply look in the front once submerged. I "fan" around the 6...
Edwinov,
On your camera under the Menu choices the RED tab 5 at the bottom determines what I meant by AUTO. You'll see choices how your pop up flash will work.
Included are:
AUTO or MANUAL
Flash Exposure Compensation
Shutter Synch (if it close the shutter 1st curtain or 2nd curtain...
Dialing your camera's internal flash in the AUTO (TTL) flash control will not save you much in battery power......
Dialing the camera flash down and external flash up might cancel out each other but again, in my experience using the same set up previously with Inon S2000 strobe(s) since 2016...
EF-S lenses only work on Canon APS-C dSLR or with an adapter on Canon EOS M mount and with a different adapter on RF / RF-S models.
The Canon 7D (and 7D II) are both an APS-C sensor. The "crop factor" of that sensor is 1.6X. So an 18mm labeled lens will only "see" like a 28.8mm lens FOV (Field...
I realize a lot of equipment for Sea and Sea to Inon and Ikelite, etc. manuals can be confusing......
S-TTL as I've posted in several posts is a fabulous underwater lighting tool if you know:
* How any TTL set up works underwater
* How HARD WIRED TTL (in certain housings or sometime external...
