A bit of a long shot, wondering if anyone uses an xDeep Backplate and Project Wing for CCR. I’m in the midst of my SF2 course and contemplating a swap but not sure if the Project Wing is appropriate for CCR.

Glad our recommendation was of use to you. I can’t speak for the Cressi as I’ve never tried it but the xDeep has become my favorite and last mask after bouncing between a few brands. I haven’t had water enter the mask even with a loose fit.

Appreciate the effort you took to search the buoyancy characteristics of the battery! I made the remark primarily because: I’m very new to sidemount and dive in warm water. I carry 3lbs right below my neck to stay horizontal.

I’m about to order a bracket that looks like the one you posted from a company called Dluxe. Once that arrives I’ll try it!

Seeking the wisdom of the experts lurking in this forum, or anyone able to post a photo of how they mount their battery on their Rec/Tec harness. I've tried the search function, and google but all I've found is pictures of how its mounted on the classic, which does not have the bolt to attach...

The xdeep Radical Frameless mask has a large nose pocket while maintaining a nice low volume and profile overall.
