Scubapro Go Sport. They are considered a "travel fin" but I use them in cold water diving. I've seen drysuit and tech guys using them. They are a lot shorter than the avanti quattro. They are also great if you have bad or weak knees and ankles. Very comfortable for long days flutter or frog kicking.
Now that I am getting back into diving and am a little older and have more time and financial freedom, I am looking at working towards my Master Diver certification. I have both a PADI and SSI LDS where I live. My original certification from way back when is through NAUI. I'd like to hear...
Thanks for all the replies and advice. I've decided to keep it simple with room for changes in the future. Going to go with a standard SS backplate, a continuous nylon strap harness and 30-35lb single bladder for now. I'm looking at OMS, DGX, Dive rite, and Xdeep.
Any recommendations on which...

Thanks for all the advice and recommendations. I ended up ordering a Scubapro Mk25/S620ti along with the R195 octo. I got everything including tax and shipping for a hair over $1100, so I couldn't pass that deal up.
For the last several years I have been renting my regulators. I have finally decided to purchase my own regulator set up. I would like to hear other peoples advice or recommendations...
To start, I live in California, so my diving will be in water temps in the 50's year around. My local dive...
I just started getting back into diving after about 15 years out of the water. One thing I discovered is that everyone is using a computer now. After some research, I decided on the Aqualung i330R and absolutely love it. It does not have AI, but its also only around $350. It has a full color...
Little bit late on the response, but I did my first (of three dives that weekend) at Monastery on July 24th and 25th. It was my first time diving there and I went with a guide. Vis was easily 50-60 feet. My guide said it was one of the best days he had ever seen there. First two dives were on...
