Question Integrated weights for first bp/w

I really like my integrated weight pockets from Helium. https://www.paragondivestore.com/collections/helium-dive/products/helium-dive-fly-trim-weight-system Easy to get the weights placed right where I want them.

Integrated Power Inflators Are A Terrible Idea!

I use the Atomic SS1 along with a primary on a long hose. It works well for me. The SS1 breathes very well, and I've never had any issues with it being difficult to breath with or free-flowing. I generally dive with the same person (my wife) and we practice sharing air (primary donate) and...

    Aqualung Rogue vs. Zeagle Zena?

My wife had both of these. Could not get a decent fit with the Rogue. The Zena off the shelf was ok, but then she customized the fit by changing the components to a smaller size, and the Zena fits her perfectly. She really likes the Zena. No durability issues so far (going on 50 dives.)

    Operators requiring air integrated computers

I think that your reliable source may not be as reliable as you think.

    I need your opinion

That's awful. Good for you for saving your buddy. The more I dive the more convinced I am to never dive with an "insta-buddy."

    Iberostar and Dressel Divers

Yes. Pre-booked ahead of time through the website. If you book your dives ahead of time (minimum 3 days, I believe,) you get the 20% discount. We got that discount because we booked a couple of weeks ahead.

    Iberostar and Dressel Divers

Boats were fine. They are big. Not really "packed." Boats generally tended to have either 2 or 3 groups of divers on them, with each group having between 4 to 8 divers. Not everyone gets out at the same place. A group gets in the water, then the boat goes a little ways and dumps off the...

    Iberostar and Dressel Divers

Just got back from a week at Cozumel. Previously, we stayed in town and dove with Tres Pelicanos. This time, we tried the all-inclusive experience with Iberostar and dove with Dressel Divers. My thoughts: Iberostar: The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Food was very good, although...

Processing Sealife Micro 3 DNG (RAW) files?

What's your go-to software for processing Sealife DNG files? I generally use DxO Photolab and/or Darktable, and neither of these can read Sealife DNG files. Does Lightroom and/or Photoshop work with Sealife DNG files?

    Mask recommendations

Definitely try the mask on with a snorkel or mouthpiece in your mouth. I went through 20+ masks before I found one that worked for me.

Halcyon, Xdeep, OMS, Audaxpro, Aquatec, DGX - value & longevity?

I have this same full-titanium set-up. I use it for pretty much all my diving, as I'm always flying to dive and it keeps my luggage weight down.

    Anywhere beat Raja Ampat ?

I was intrigued by your post and decided to look into how to get there. Apparently, it's not easy to get to Kaimana. Looks like the only airline that goes there is Wings Air, which, from the reviews on Trip advisor appears to be a nightmare airline...

    What fins to purchase

The new Supernova looks interesting. However, the only criticism I've heard of it from the one user I know is that it's a bit "soft" feeling. Personally, I'm waiting for a Supernova using the Gorilla's stiff compound before I consider it. (I like my Gorillas, but I am also a sucker for the...

    What fins to purchase

I have used the Seawing Nova and the Seawing Nova Gorilla. The Gorilla provides more propulsion, so if you like the Seawing design, but want more propulsion, you may want to try the Gorilla. It's the same fins, but with a stiffer compound.
