With the good conditions this weekend (6/11/21) and into the beginning of next week, is anyone planning any beach dives around Humiston Park? I have been eyeballing the conditions, and have been itching to go. Maybe we can get something put together.

I have for sale a Mares Puck Pro Plus +. It can do Nitrox (I used it on my Nitrox cert), and dives can be downloaded using Bluetooth and the Mares Bluelink. I have only used this on 6 dives, but decided to sell and get an Air integrated computer. Great entry level or backup computer. Also can...
Thats probably what they did, shipped the painted cause they had it in stock. However, specifically what I ordered stated
"hot dipped galvanized". Just did the return procedures. Looks like they will b covering the return shipping....
Here is pics of the tank and the roll markings. The outside of the tank is shiny and uniform (no little "pitting" in the outside) . It did not look like the new hot dipped galvanized Faber's the shop had for sale.
Ok so I took the tank into my dive shop and they said that it is not galvanized but painted. They determined this just by visually looking at the outside. When I say the outside is shiny, it looks like it has a clear coat. I compared it next to some smaller Faber galvanized tanks in the shop and...
I just purchased a new Faber HP130. The the product description and what I ordered was galvanized. However, the finish of the tank seems a bit shinier than I though galvanized should be. Is there a way to tell from the roll markings if it is indeed galvanized? If not is there a different way to...
So I just found out my AOW instructor has his own personal HP130 that I can use on one of our dives. It will give me a chance to try before I buy something, though I am leaning toward the 130.
I had thought about them a little, but I was thinking focusing more on maximum air, i.e. the 130. I guess picking up two 117s could be a decent compromise between the two main options (having two HP100s in single mount for everything or dive AL80's on the boats and use the HP130 for lobstering)...
So I am at a bit of an impasse. I am just under 6 feet and 215 lbs. I am relatively fit, and the Army made me accustom to carrying a bunch of weight on my back :). I will be doing boat and shore dives. One of the main reasons I got into diving was spearfishing, lobstering, and maybe some...
Does anyone know of a dive shop that does spear fishing classes that takes you out and guides you on a hunt? I want to get into spearfishing, but would like to have someone teach me the ins and outs and guide me on a hunt or two. I would be diving on a tank. I am located on the treasure coast...
Hello everyone. My family and I moved to the Vero area this past you. I recently got my Open Water Certification and I am now working on my SSI Advanced Open Water. I am hoping to meet some divers who like to do beach dives, dive for lobster, and spearfish. Glad to meet everyone.
