I dive from a boat in alabama. The depth os shallow unless you get atleast 8 mi out then in the 40s to 60s, in the perdido pass area gets deeper closer 4 or 5 mi to 40ft 10 miles gets 60 to 70. Only closs shore dives are perdido pass and fort pickens in al and those need the right tide...
