If not using a drysuit, the drysuit inflation hose could be lightly Gaffa/Duck taped to the SPG and is completely unnoticeable when checking gas pressure. It’s then available for inflating the SPG.
Obviously not applicable to Fundies as backward knob twiddling is such a core part of "DIR" diving. Thankfully, Intro To Tech doesn’t have those biases.
It's a big zip that you can put a (thin) padlock -- or cable tie -- through the zipper "handles".
They used to do a sort of two-sided bag which is zipped together. Like that as dive kit is one side and clothes the other. Am certain that it's a bog-standard Chinese case they branded ND.

Put an Airtag into the luggage so at least you can see that it's not arrived as they sent it to bongo-bongo land. A pack of 4 is good insurance and they're easily hidden.
Drysuits are very expensive and fragile. I tend to use larger flexible wheely cases. If I've sufficient weight...
Sliding D-rings, such as these, are great for your waist belt. For holding the SMB, you slide this far back and clip on. I like them as the bungee holds the D-ring down and slightly out from the webbing.
Available on eBay et al.
When you're flat in the water, the spool will tend to drop down. In your third pic, you show it dangling as you're standing up. If you lie down on the ground it would dangle down and move to your front.
As it is, the bolt snap could undo. If you turn the boltsnap around with the gate...
Good reason to change! Although the Poseidon is a rare sight in the UK, the most popular unit is an AP Inspiration which also has a need to calibrate when turned on for a dive. Have heard of many divers whinging about it.
Sorry for being off topic... One thing I like about my Revo is it's...
It's early days with the solid state cells and the prices are very high, circa 10 X the cost of Galvanic cells. It's early days with the interfaces; ultimately they'll simply be part of the DiveCAN network, taking their power from the bus and pushing raw data to the bus. For now there needs...
Chatting to someone about the Halcyon chestmount, the monitors -- both wrist mounted and eye mounted -- are wireless. Seems it's a one-way transmission and it seems there's no monitor to unit connectivity. Curious as to how the controller knows which setpoint to use; also how would one...
Second hand regulators will save you a LOT of money. I’ve acquired at least a dozen regulator sets and have only bought a couple of DS4+ATX40 stage cylinder sets new when Apeks were good value 7 years ago (£150/$200). All of my other regs are second hand.
For sidemount, I’ve a pair of Mk25s...
Just in case you’ve not heard of it, Gareth Lock's book Under Pressure — Diving Deeper with Human Factors is pretty good, albeit a tad dry.

Thus far most rebreathers have a cylindrical scrubber that is taller than the diameter. Flow is from bottom to top (a.k.a. Axial) or up a tube in the middle and through the scrubber to the outside (a.k.a. Radial, from the hub to the rim).
Interestingly the newly announced Halcyon and...
It’s such a pity that tripling prices doesn’t triple turnover and help all those employees wanting to get on.
Economics 101: increase prices reduces demand.
Apeks prices have recently shot through the roof for little benefit to their loyal customers who are now looking for alternatives.
