Yes, very sad for his family. However, I would imagine that they are happy for the success of the rescue too. His death was not in vain. Similar to the feeling an organ donor's family feels knowing that someone survived because of their loved one.

The last time I was in Cozumel in May, it DID rain everyday.... for about 10 minutes. The rest of the day was beautiful. And generally when the rain came, we were hot and tired, and the rain was refreshing!

The better restaurants may not be around the square, but Sunday afternoon/evening is a great time to be there, because (unless it has changed in the last couple years) it is "local time." Families come out with their kids dressed up SO cute! Last few times I was there, there was a live band...
