Can you please recommend some wetsuits not made in China. I just received my Henderson Neosport stuff and the hood has a made in China label. I thought I was buying a US product. Sending it all back and need to rebuy. Which wetsuits aren't made in China?
Having looked at the Henderson...
I honestly kinda regret buying online. Wetsuit from Leasure pro doesn't fit(bottom fits top doesn't), easy enough return but they don't have the right size in stock so I'm SOL (just returning and need to find else ware).
2 items that were shown as in stock from Divers Supply didn't show up...
Arrived today, didn't include the hose. Just an Aqualung gray bag. No big deal as I had already ordered one. Maybe for $279 Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals they don't include hose?
I only have experience W PADI, main reason is 80 mile drive for me to a non PADI shop. With PADI being the only option at both LDS and the local university(same instructor) it's not surprising almost everybody in my area is kinda locked into PADI. For me to do training that's non PADI it...
Hi, quick question here, I ordered a Aqualung Zuma travel BCD on Cyber Monday size M/L. What length inflation hose would work with this BCD?
2. I was planning to order a HOG SPG today, would a 24 inch hose be fine for an average size guy (wear XL T shirts)? Does the SPG high pressure hose...
Did the Cyber Monday thing today.
Aqualung Zuma BCD for $300 ($279+ tax). Leisure Pro
HOG D3 with Zenith $272 Divers supply
HOG RecTec octo $82 W hose Divers supply
HOG DIN to yoke adapter $33. Divers supply
Haven't figured out the SPG yet.
That's kinda how I'm looking at it. With the world closed I may as well take a few classes as I probably won't be traveling to warmer waters any time soon.
I have actually found this discussion great, read every post. Didn't ever expect this many good response when I made the original post.
1. I find it a but ridiculous that DM annual fees cost almost twice as much and insurance almost 3 times as much as my nursing license and insurance. For...
But it sure doesn't look like an efficient use of time or money for someone just looking to become a better diver with no interest in working in the industry.
Is GUE fundamentals for the entry level diver? I was under the impression it was for those with more experience? And do they make you use a long hose for the class even if you have no interest in tec or using one in the future?
Thanks
I renewed GE in September online. Just submitted the renewal online and was approved 2 or 3 days later(could see approval in my online account). Took about 3 more weeks to get my new card in the mail. Never had to leave my house to renew. Super easy
I had no changes, not sure if that was...
I have never done anything like this but I would think the easiest thing to do would be start a FB group. If you get decent interest you could then use those contacts to make it more of a formal club.
