I didn't know the names of the species that were the garidans of the brew. Haha but thanks for the info. I wish we had had more fottage to show of the underwater world here. Its a mass with incredible creatures and plants. Some of the most magnificent sea enemonies I've every seen...
Hello divers, I hope this is OK to post this here.
You Might be interested in this, I brewed some IPA beer from glacial ice, bottled it, put it in a crate then dove down and left it in a shipwreck for 8 months at the bottom of the Arctic ocean... That was episode one... This is link is episode...
Thanks very much and glad to hear you like it. We dove back down there and attached a rope with some carabinas to secure it to the wreck. But already even after just a week it had sunk and collected sediment, it looked like part of the wreck so floating away won't be a problem and I think that...
Thats super interesting mate. Thanks for the insight. We definitely don't have the equipment for this procedure...... Yet! For our needs simple carbonation is all we require... And we continue to hope that the salt water won't i trude under pressure.
Gotta love a good Guinness... Ohhhh yessss... Interesting thoughts with the plastic widget. At this stage it might be a bit advanced for our needs hahaha... We used old bottles and upcycled a reclaimed pallet haha
Yeah true. The water is quite salty but I think they won't corrode that quickly. I think that if they will leak they propably already have. But I'm still hopeful. We'll let you know in a few months.
The hardest part is that we have the other 18 beers sitting on a shelf maturing at the office...
Sounds interesting,. Wow strapping painting and photos to a shipwreck... Inventive approach haha. well time will tell if theyll hold out... That's half the fun haha. Yes the bottles have metal caps but when I capped them I tried hard you really press them on super tightly...
Well mhattenhauer.... Haha because we can and for the hell of it sounded like the perfect reason to do it..... Why did we hike for 12km with 25kg of glacial ice to make the beer rather than using tap or steam water??? Because we could and it was an cool adventure ... And we might be a little...
Yes, and The crate was already negative after 1 week.. We have secured it with rope and carabinas now... Actually after 1 week it was already covered in sediment
