I set my C370 to max resistance, it’s not at all hard to breathe on that setting, it just requires a bit more effort. During my deep cert dives and this past weekend we used ponies and I didn’t like their refs because it was too easy to breathe with.

For some reason I'm unable to inflate my dsmb with an octo, and it's pretty big so I don't manually inflate. I just use the inflator hose.

Water temps here are always 82-84F, being cold is not a thing for me.

I followed your advice and here's a shot I took with it mounted on my firing hand. Worked great and I might ditch my selfie stick for this. Only thing I didnt like is that it got entangled in my regs when taking off my gear in the water against the rocks in a rough shore exit.
