Hi, I'm tryin to set up a new to me oceanic islander bcd and the 2nd stae/inflator has been a real pain. the quick disconnect post i have replaced, though the fitting that was originally on there has 2 parts. anyway, the reulator inflator keeps freeflowing. any tips???

Here's a photo with an arrow pointing to where it leaks. massive air, but it feels like a snug fit to put it on there.

Attention gearheads! Thanks for those of you who have helped me thus far. I recently purchased a new QD adapter and LP hose for my old Oceanic Islander BC with integrated 2nd stage on the inflator hose. DGX has two different adapter fittings options, and I got the Aqualung option as it was...

It's right where the arrow is pointing. It fits fairly snug... When I connected them, I didn't expect it to leak because the fit was that close. I'll add a picture of the inflator fitting as you suggested... I'm assuming that needs to be replaced too (or I try to find the right QD for the hose end)

I upgraded with this adapter and hose, the Aqualung style one which on the Dgx website includes oceanic integrated 2nd stage inflators.

Leaking here! What do I do? New QD post on the bc inflator or get the other adapter?

good afternoon! I’m putting together some older (shop tested) gear and have run into an unexpected problem with compatibility. Aqualung Conshelf XIV QD inflator hose doesn’t fit the port on my Oceanic Islander bcd... why???? Should a get a new hose or a new and adapter? THANK YOU ALL
