Currently diving with 3P's and having a great time. The boats, captains, and DMs are all great. I won't hesitate to come back and dive with them again. Haven't dove the other two ops but 3P's is great.

I’m pretty lucky to have amazing benefits in addition to being a Canadian. I’ll be calling in to confirm my coverage but in the handbook it doesn’t list scuba under the exemptions.

On using a taxi around the island is there any tips you can give me? I know from other travels that sometimes some taxis are more reputable than others. Can you negotiate with taxis in Cozumel?

@Sue Sue thanks for the good advice. I think I’ll stick to Cozumel this trip and leave the mainland for my next trip. Luckily we have relatively cheap and direct flights from where I live to Coz. I’m a researcher by nature, so I have read the stickied posts, and continue to read posted dive logs...

Thanks and unfortunately it is not. Good news though it’s only -30C today, might have even hit -28 for a bit. Next week is supposed to be more reasonable around -5C to -10C.
