Xdeep Zeos in europe is 440€ for a standard dir set.

Completely fine and good set if you ask me. Same as any other possible BPW. IMHO ive seen both the tecline and the xdeep zeos. And...
After all the learnimg about the singles paltes I realized that at least for me feels like a marketing gimmick.
When I was diving backmount, I bought a backplate and wing for singles as a base to update for doubles when I reach technical diving. But in the meantime i hurt my back and neck, and...
For me. 0 is the right amount of wetsuits. If I ever need a wet suit I need it temporary, I get one from my club, and It's usually a 5mm hooded.
I dive a drysuit all year long. And I love it. From 25C in the summer yo 4C in the winter.
If I need a shorty, I wear shorts and a vest.
Hmmm. Today I learned something new. Thanks.
IMHO while diving a single tank I never felt that much unstable with a regular Dgx plate, even when using a STA. And I usually dove heavy 15l tanks.
Umm, is the plate universal? And just a couple of manufacturers make a tall and/or short plate?
Afair, the whole point of the palte is that is universal.
Except Quattros are super simple and rugged fin, which van be field repaired. The strap mounting posts are easily fitted with a improvised bungee, and there are no additional stuff to tweak or break.
More stuf to screw in and twiddle around. More.stuff to break.
I don't know why but these don't look dir to me. Looks like a monoprene version of the Quattros. They'll probably be good and stiff, but then again, something about the strap mounting and the gimmicky weights don't sit right with me.
the center outlet is not interfearing with the stage since it's a lot lower than on a standard wing.
As you can see here. They set it like that since they have a theory that offset inflators don't distribute air the same as a centered inflators on doubes wings. So they made a singles wing...
Actually it's not interfering at all. The top of the wing sits well below the valves. It's quite streamlined, and with heavier tanks wears the weight quite well.
And it solves the tipping issue with a backplate by not having any float in the top. and the issues with heavy feet and balance. A...
Zen can't fit to a standard plate. and is shifted downward and the hose is center placed.
While Zeos is a standard universal wing with an offset inflator.
No. Zen uses the NX wing while Zeos is the standard donut wing for standard plates.
IMHO, I don't like thr NX wings, the standard regular Zeos/Hydro are just perfect.
They're a quality wing. Can't go wrong with them. Not flashy but otherwise good. On the same level of quality as xDeep, while it's a bit basic. The K inflator is somewhat standardized but it's not the classic standard k inflator with plastic buttons that's on diverite, xdeep and DGX. I've seen...
