Forgive my ignorance...what is bank, stick and blend? Also, as a further question to everyone...why does the Palm 02 require calibration before every use whereas the Oxycheq does not?

How are the straps holding up? I had the Akona Stealth which I think is similar mesh (it's a bit more dense/foamy and not see through). Do you have any issues with water retention does does the bag truly drain well?

Thanks guys. Hadn't thought of the green army duffel...that's definitely an idea to look into. On the Stahlsacs, do you guys think these are significantly stronger mesh bags than the standard fare mares/cressi/etc branded mesh bags that likely come from the same factory?

I'm looking for recommendations on a duffel bag to bring all my gear just from the hotel to the dive shop on vacations. I pack my gear in my suitcases as check-in bags but am looking for a bag to haul my gear to the dive shop / to the shore etc... I've looked at a lot of the mesh bags that are...

I'm not an expert on this at all but, when I got sucked into a lot of reading about RGBM and different deco models, there was a lot of reading regarding deep stops and it seems the general consensus based on some studies is that deep stops are not as safe--something to do with offgassing fast...

I also use the 24 hour rule before any flight and I've definitely headed straight to the dive boat from the airport on a few vacations!
