Ah ok I’m following. I was thinking there was 10 cabins and 2 single cabins. I could see them not allowing singles into the standard cabins. Maybe they will open them up last minute if they haven’t sold.

I’m a new diver as well, and it’s no fun to think that our equipment can fail us. Sounds like you were able to manage it, and you’ll be better off for having gone through it. Definitely a good reminder that you’re taught how to put your gear on while in the water, but it’s as important to know...

I just did Blackbeard’s at the beginning of the month. I spent two days after just relaxing. The queen sized bed and long showers at the holiday inn were blissful.

Awesome.. I'm stoked to give them a look. I live in Flag, as in my address is there, but I spend 320+ days a year on the road, so can't make it down the 17 as easily as I once could. That said, I slow down towards the end of the year, so should be able to get in there before the new year.

Yes! I’ve read this over and over. I’m thinking I should be alright. Aside from my gear I’m bringing very little. Looks like almost 6 hours for me. But I live in the northern part of the state. If the diving is good it would be worth the trip I’m sure!

Thats what I like to hear. And I agree, it sounds like I'm going to love it either way.

I have no issue with those my senior! No doubt anyone I encounter diving will certainly be a much better diver than I, and can hopefully pass along some wisdom. That said, I just figure I’ll naturally get along better with those closer to my age, but who knows. Like I said, I’m going either way...

Do you not start to overheat in that dry suit? I’ve never used one, but I’d imagine I would be sweating my butt off.
