Yep, I inserted the spool restrictor between the hose and pod, then screwed the hose directly into the HP on my 1st stage.

Is there any downside to using a small hose to attach a Suunto pod to my 1st stage? I'm trying to prevent damage if someone lifts my gear by the yolk and pod on a dive boat. Thanks

I bought 316 marine grade rings on Amazon. I opted for the ‘thinner’ rings made with 6mm steel because there is not much slack in the webbing and I was worried that the chunkier 8mm rings might cause an issue.

Recently swapped my stock Scubapro LP & HP hoses with Miflex Xtreme & Carbon HD, but now the hose protectors on both the primary and secondary stages keep sliding off due to the reduced hose OD. Can anyone recommend protectors that provide some grip on the Miflex Xtreme and Carbon HD? Thanks.

I'm loving my Hydros Pro. Is it possible to install additional D rings that fit the 1" webbing on the monoprene shoulder straps? I could do with 2 more. Thanks
