Rolock dry glove system review and modification

Beware that rolock has the rolock 90 system now. This version is meant to be installed in the sitech oval pu ring (like the ultima system also does). You can get it her (even with the pu rings): RoLock 90 – kit with PU mounting ring, blue ring, (without glove or wrist seal) – Rolock

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Just came to mind; I don’t like the neo socks. They are too big and I don’t like the hassle of separate shoes. Seaskins tech boots look good (weren’t available back then). Does anyone have experience with them (or other flexible sole boots)?

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I got my seaskin last september with the rolock system, also after much consideration (but it still was some sort of impulse). As a student I have a limited budget, but on the other hand I wanted it done proper so I don’t need to update soon. This meant that I was aiming for the ultima system...

    All I want for Christmas...

Great first list! But let’s keep it (relative) low cost. One of them could be wetnotes. But which are affordable but still good?

    All I want for Christmas...

So, Christmas is coming. What are this years gadgets for under the tree? Note: new regs and such are fun, but not something you would expect under the tree. Please stick to the more present oriented stuff. first contestant: the Toypedo Orginal, a fun underwater toy which also helps you in...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

The quick neck and orust system allow silicone seals which can also be replaced by the user in minutes. so if you want silicone seals or the ability to swap them yourself when you break one go for it. The systems also work with latex seals and even some neoprene (I believe).

Which Dry Suit do I need?

It has been mentioned before, but with your budget and statement that you need custom; Seaskin is the way to go. I just got mine a small month ago and I love it! it cost me €1300 including undergarments, silicone seals and drygloves. And I think it’s the most reviewed suit on forums. Only...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Not the flat pocket, the standard bellows one (which can lay flat). And they fit one of those items, maybe two at a time. Not all at the same time. Dry Suit Option - Second Pocket for Nova, Bellows - Seaskin Custom Diving Suits

The standard ones. So far they do their job perfectly.

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I got my suit almost a month ago. What I wish I had chosen other/ them done it differentM Neo boots instead of socks. I now have socks, but they are big. I’m even thinking about switching to boots at my lds. Pockets in the undersuit. The undersuit has only one small pocket. So you cannot keep...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I got a reply from seaskin this morning. And they are going to send the tool and grease. But het also stated that they normally don’t include the grease. Anyway, they will send it and I hope it will be here soon.

Just bought my first Dry Suit - wondering if I made a mistake

What Lexvil said is true. Replacable seals should in no way cost 600. I got my seaskin yesterday and I paid in the region of €150 for a quick neck (newer version of your neck tite) and the ovals. I see similar prices for the sets in online stores (netherlands). The way I see it is that you got...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I got the rolock rings. And my undersuit also has the stretchie spandex like socks (with a gap in them for your heel). But the 150g socks are tight bare feet. And that little bit of material makes them too tight. Getting them in the suit socks is no problem, they are a little big. I find it...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I got my suit today. First fit seems good, everything is snug but not too snug. The only part I dislike (yet) are the socks. They are to small with the 250g undersuit (which also has some sort of sock). And don’t make the mistake of assembling dryglove rings without grease (I did and spent some...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Good information everywhere :) But another question. Metal or plastic zip? Most threads I can find are either a few years old and cover tizip and noth the ykk aquaseal that seaskin offers. If companies like bare use it on their top of the line suits it should be good. Right?

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Would it be possible to remove the kubis from one suit and transfer them to another? So that you don’t have to buy them new with every new suit (not that i’m planning on regular new drysuits though :) And are the kubis rigid enough that they withstand something like a transfer?

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Thanks for the reply, it’s a shame they cannot do orust with the collar. About the socks, what would be their main advantage over the regular neo shoes? I have normal neo sheos on my current drysuit and I kinda like them

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

I’m looking to buy my first new drysuit. Seaskin surely looks great but all the options dazzle me a bit. Some uncertanties right now: Warm collar or not? Quick neck or orust (note that the warm collar rules out the orust and vice versa)? The freakingly expensive kubis or antares/ultima/4th...
