hello, the turtle manual trigger worked well once I figured what settings I needed to use. The battery lasts a long time, at least 3-4 days of diving. I never had to charge on a dive trip ever.
I used to use TRT S-Turtle Manual trigger with my SeaFrogs housing. It worked very well for me.
I think the model I used is discontinued now and I also know they have a TTL version available.
I used SaltedLine for my old A6500 for about two years. I was always switching between Samyang 12mm F2 in an 8" dome or Macro on a flat port. I never had an issue with my screw but I remember being careful to not tighten it too hard.

I use the SeaFrogs SaltedLine for my A6500, it has audible and visual leakage alarms and I do a vacuum test before every dive but still don't feel all that safe in it. I did about 50-70 dives with it. You get what you pay for.
