The reason you are unable to locate a specific recommendation is that there is not a recommended one for the Choptima.
I would ask why you feel like one is necessary?
(Please don’t actually answer that as there is not enough time for the BOV/DSV argument.)
Hey Guys. I have them in stock. We still have more than 10 left. @davehicks thanks for the order. Those should leave the shop today or first thing tomorrow.
Order one of these…

Use it on all your dives and not just when scootering. The bolt snap from the unit to the crotch strap on your harness will really help keep the unit better in place...
I have taught courses with divers from 150-165CM with no issues. There are some things you can do to help the unit stay in place.
1. For shorter divers (and really all divers now) I recommend using the scooter ring as a 5th attachment. It really helps keep the unit in place.
2. There is a...
It is NOT a KISS product. It is a Dive Talk product.
“…it’s not a KISS product. It’s a Dive Talk product. Our first rebreather”
Direct quote from Gus of Dive Talk on a FB page. Maybe time to change the name of the thread.
This is the last post I am making on this issue but you have actually never even spoke with me.
The tank was never condemned. Take it for a hydro.

Unfortunately in Tucson there are just not enough tanks to make it feasible to bring these things in house. United Fire services the three dive shops in the city along with the Fire Departments, industry, etc.
I wasn't even going to jump into this thread but as we have been named and now people are asking if I will offer a response. So here it is. As a shop we have an absolutely stellar reputation in the diving community and I have personally worked very hard to maintain that and live up to...

Go to the 3rd page and read from where it says "Upgrade"
I am biased towards the CM. Not saying it is the unit for you but if you want to do some research this site has a ton of information on it.

I would be happy to answer any specific questions as well that come up.
I think in another thread you mentioned that your MOD1 course is $1500. If you are teaching that over 5 days then that is only $300 per day. Not a far cry off of the $250. Yikes!
I can't think of a single agency that makes divers do deep air before allowing them to use Trimix. With TDI for OC you can go directly to Advanced Nitrox / Helitrox as your first tech course using Helium which is the only way I will teach it.
The no Helium for Air Diluent No Deco is because...
As many have mentioned most tech instruction has moved to a daily rate plus the cost of consumables (gas and absorbent) and diving related expenses (boat fees, entrance fees, rentals, etc.) The day rate may vary from instructor but I would say $275-350 is what I see as "normal" for high level...
