    Drysuit and squeeze question

It's not ambient water pressure acting against the diver, but that the pressure in an unequalised drysuit is at a lower pressure. Effectively it is vacuum packing where the lack of give will eventually prevent lung expansion. Think of vaccum packed food items which are solid until you open them.

    New drysuit has arrived

How long did it take? (Although whatever time it'll be worth it)

People embarrassed to do pre dive buddy check?

The problems not the acronyms but people not doing the checks. A standard acronym won't fix that

Question Fizzy/bubbly tissues in limbs after dives

If DCS/PFO has been checked, what were you wearing and was this on areas of exposed skin? Possibly a reaction to stinging by bits of cnidaria - but then its not uncommon so would think that's already been suggested and ruled out Good luck anyway

    Zoop Novo Download issues

I have a AMD Ryzen 5 3600. 64 bit processor. My Zoop Novo works fine with DM5. I can't get it to work with Subsurface but then I've not really spent the time - I just download the log file and upload into Subsurface. I've no idea what any of this means but there you go.

Wish I had a pee valve

Fair enough - just many people are so worried about underhyrdation and potential risks associated with that, that they can overdo it the other way which could also have risks. Just be properly hydrated.

Anyone here that has tried out SUBEA brand by decathlon or has seen its BCD firsthand?

Your questions are being answered by those in America so not surprised by them not knowing the brand. Decathlon is a massive sports chain in Europe - you can't go hiking in France without every second person wearing something of theirs. Subea will just be their in-house scuba brand. I've no...

    Drysuit use and buoyancy

Squeeze and warmth for me. But I'd be interested to hear if the warmth part is really needed. What I mean by warmth is a few squirts more than needed to take off the squeeze (if I feel cold). The thinking being more air is a better insulator. Is this right?

Infuriating (to me) scuba scene in a car commercial

He was probably confused by the rental gear. Octo generally routes to the left for BSAC (no idea if a standard). I guess if someone is faced with unfamiliar routing of it on the right they could think to rotate the first stage to have yellow on the left - at the expense of all else

Myanmar: the best kept secret diving destination in Asia

Yeah. A semi-reasonable human rights record is always good. Don't know if Myanmar even reaches that lofty standard.

    Tank storage for high-rise dwellers

I don't know. If you're a few feet above sea level and there's a hurricane don't you want your house to be mobile?

Delta has now canceled my flight

It's not society falling apart, it's society not traveling. All I'm saying is take the refund if you can get it.

Delta has now canceled my flight

That's a bold statement to make unless you know details of the coming government bailout. Every airline is screwed at this point.

    Headed to UK (From U.S.)

Mike's Dive Store in Chiswick maybe easiest. Short tube ride. Others tend to be distributed further out in London.
